The Challenge
The original 1950’s home from which this extensive renovation was generated had an awkward second floor addition. Sited on an unusually large waterfront parcel, the poorly planned, compartmentalized home seemed to ignore the spectacular waterfront views and boating potential.
The Result
This solution involved a drastic reorganization of the interior spaces, enlarged window and door openings, and increased ceiling heights to enhance the waterfront views. Additionally, the entire waterfront side is sheltered by an open Lanai which reinforces the link between the indoor spaces and bayside pool patio.
